
The village of Dobrinishte lies in the foot of Pirin mountain and is situated just 6 km south of Bansko. It is the final station on the narrow-gauge railline from Septemvri. Dobrinishte is one of the largest villages in the country with a population of over 3,000 inhabitants. There are 17 mineral springs with water temperature between 30o and 43 oC, as well as a big public bath with mineral water. The town is a point of departure to the Gotse Delchev, Mocharata and Bezbog Chalets and to the Bezbog Ski-Centre. There are a number of private hotels, as well as a tourist house in the village. There are bus lines to Sofia, Blagoevgrad, Razlog, Bansko, Gotse Delchev, etc. The bus station is nearby the railway station, about 1 kilometre to the east of Dobrinishte.
