Sitovo is a small village in southern Bulgaria, in the Plovdiv district. Sitovo lies in the Rhodopi municipality and represents a typical Rhodopi-style village. It has just 39 inhabitants (according to 2005 data). Each year, the village celebrates its holiday on the 15th of August. On that day the old church that perks above the village is opened, a mass is said and villagers and their guests get together and celebrate over a roasted lamb.
