Boliari Hotel - Excellent by Oliver Ward - Co.Louth Ireland on 06 Mar 2007, 16:39 The Boliari is a real find in Veliko Turnovo. This Hotel will provide you with the perfect base from which to explore the fabulous old capital of Bulgaria, and they will provide it with a smile and at excellent value.
The rooms are large and are fitted with good quality furniture and fixtures. We had a cosy balcony looking out over the Yantra gorge and we enjoyed a few late night glasses of wine in the fresh air.
The hotel is in a reasonably quiet part of town so a good night sleep is not a problem, however the old town is only a five minute walk away.
We have no hesitation in recommending the Boliari, it's simply a gem.

value for your money by The photo nomad on 01 Aug 2006, 21:55 A little gem close to the center of town.The rooms are newly decorated; confortable beds, modern bathrooms with shower. The personnel speaks English and is very friendly.I arrived by train early in the morning ( 6:30 a.m. ) and to my surprise was given a room right away. Breakfast was minimal continental, but the coffee was fabulous ! ( cappuccino from the bar )
Modern,quiet good location - clean and pleasant. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
