HOTEL KAVKAZ by DONNA CARR on 06 Oct 2006, 17:08 STAYED IN HOTEL KAVKAZ FOR A FORTNIGHT JUST ARRIVED BACK. THE HOTEL WAS CLEAN BUT THERE WAS A DINGY BIT OF CARPET NEAR THE DOOR WHICH LEADS ONTO THE BALCONY AND WE KEPT GETTING BIT MOST NIGHTS IN THE ROOM, NOT SURE IF SOMETHING WAS IN THE CARPET SPRAYED IT WITH TEA TREE OIL WHICH SEEMED TO CURE THE PROBLEM. STAFF WERE OK, MOST OF THEM WERE POLITE ENOUGH BUT A COUPLE OF THE WAITRESSES WERE AWFUL. FOOD WAS VERY REPETATIVE BUT THERE WAS ALWAYS A BIT OF SOMETHING TO EAT WHETHER IT WAS BREAKFAST OR DINNER. BEST TO GO EARLY OR THE FOOD WAS COLD. NOT MANY OF THE STAFF SPOKE VERY GOOD ENGLISH. POOL WAS VERY CLEAN, NOT VERY BIG OR DEEP THOUGH. THE HOTEL ITSELF IS A LITTLE BIT ISOLATED IT IS NOT CENTRAL AND NOT REALLY LOCAL TO ANY BARS. ENTERTAINMENT WAS ALWAYS THE SAME AT NIGHT A MAN AND WOMAN SINGING, NOT BRILLIANT BUT AT LEAST IT WAS A BIT OF SOMETHING. THE BEDS WERE SINGLE BEDS AND NOT DOUBLE LIKE SHOWN IN THE PICTURES. I WON'T BE VISITING THIS HOTEL AGAIN DUE TO ITS LOCATION AND THE RPOBLEMS THAT WE HAD WITH BEING BITTEN.

Kavkaz Hotel by Eileen Morris on 28 Sep 2006, 14:48 Stayed August/September 2006. Hotel is spotlessly clean and equiped with modern furniture which seemed almost new. The staff are friendly and helpful. Wide variety of food at breakfast buffet, just wish they would supply tea bags and hot water instead of the weak tea they supplied. Very short walking distance from main resort meant quieter- great at night. Would have appreciated a hair dryer. Would definitely go again.
