  Another great place to stay! by Malcome R. on 08 Nov 2019, 07:34 The boys from where I work at www.appliancerepairodessa.com love to travel together and we stayed here, but I give it 4 out of 5 stars just because there was a few stains on our sheets. Not perfect but great!

  Worst Holiday Ever!!!!! by Shawny on 05 Jun 2008, 00:27 We returned from the Pariaso Beach Hotel round about 15th September 2007. In my own opinion and my families opinion this was the worst holiday we have ever been on. When we arrived we had the biggest shock of our lives as the hotel was in the middle of nowhere. When we booked the holiday my father was told the rooms would all be on the same floor and next door, with there being 7 people we needed 3 rooms together as the children would need to be on the same floor as the adults, however when we arrived we were given three rooms on three different floors. The staff were really rude when we tried to explain that we needed the rooms on the same floor, we were told to go to the rooms they had given us and stay there for the night and that it would be sorted in the morning. The rooms had a balcony that overlooked the lovely sea view, and were really clean. We put our suitcases in our rooms then had a walk up the town for something to eat. When we arrived at the town we were supprised to see that all the restaurants and pubs were either closed or closing apart from 2 or 3. When we asked one of the bar owners what they were closing for they told us that all the bars shut at that time of year, until the new year. We were told on the phone that there was good evening entertainment on for the children and adults, however when we arrived there was no such thing. It is not an English speaking hotel, and there were only 3 couples and 1 family that were actually English the rest were German. We were on half board but we may as well have been on self catering as none of us ate the food as it was disgusting and you didnt know what you were eating. The following morning we went down to sit on the beach to find all the sun beds were being taken down and the beach bars were also shutting. We kept the 3 rooms that were given to us as the rooms they were offering us didnt have a balcony or sea view, and it overlooked the streets which were filthy. I will also warn any1 that is going to this hotel to keep your children away from the sea as there were about 50 jellyfish on the shore which were still alive, this was another thing we werent told about. On about the third night when i went into my room, which i was sharing with my younger sister, it had the worst smell i have ever smelt in my whole life, when we told the owner she went in and sprayed air freshner, which didnt help. The swimming pool was also tiny, dirty and freezing and had the biggest spider i have ever seen in the bottom of it. In the morning when the children were going to the shop, a big german guy came out and shouted at them, they told my father and when we were in the lift he stopped the door and started shouting at my dad, this nearly started a fight. They are the most arrogant people i have ever met. There was only two good points to the holiday. The first being we booked a taxi which cost around £150 to be taken and picked up from sunny beach. Sunny Beach is a whole different place to Obzor. All the pubs, restaurants etc etc were still open and so were the markets. They also have McDonalds, KFC, Subway and many more english fast food restaurants. However at Sunny Beach beware of the Prostitutes, especially if you've got a child in your arms, as one of them went up to a man who was holding his child and got her breasts out and shoved them in his face. We went to sunny beach twice which cost us a lot of money but it was better than spending another day at Obzor. The second good point was going home. We will not be returning to Obzor, however we would go to Sunny beach again.
