Our holiday by Roisin Hamilton on 08 Apr 2007, 19:35 We stayed in the hotel Pamporovo in april 2007 and it should not be a 5* hotel! The staff were unhelpful and from the word go treated you like you were a burden to them instead of helping, they are slow but rush you when they have "more important guests" and the meals themselves are terrible (the chicken is still pink and uncooked, the salads are swimming in vinegar..nothing tastes as it should!)... put it this way, if you were treated like that in the UK you would complain to the manager or walk out!
Apart from that and a few other wee problems, it is a clean hotel, comfortable enough to sleep in and stay at,good access to the centre of the town for shops etc and is only a 10 minute bus journey to the slopes! Oh and the swimming pool is quite good.

Our holiday by Olivia & Paul on 19 Feb 2007, 17:41 Having heard some bad stories about here we were unnecessarily concerned as we had a great holiday. We went from the 3rd-10th February '07 & would definitely go back. The hotel staff were fine & the hotel itself has a good atmosphere. There are good facilities but you have to pay to use the sauna & steam room,the spa treatments are fab. There was a good selection of food to suit everyone, so you wont be hungry!! If you are booking Ski-Doos book direct at the Murgavets Hotel as the groups are smaller and you can drive faster!! It was more expensive than we thought but the supermarket has a good exchange rate.Have a great holiday!!
