First Snow Surprises Sofia, Pleases Skiers

The first snowflakes for this winter season have started falling over Sofia and other parts in Bulgaria, surprising some and delighting others.

In the mountain resort of Pamporovo, where the ski season opened on Friday despite the lack of snow, tourists and business owners were happy to wake up to a 2-centimeter snow coverage.

Drivers should be careful for visibility is limited.
