The Lodge Collection, the first in a chain of apartment hotels, opened its doors in Borovets, Bulgaria's most distinguished ski resort.
The hotel was constructed in 2006 by Octopus Developments Ltd, owned by one of the leading investors in London.
"This is the first hotel in Bulgaria, entirely built by natural materials. Investing in Bulgaria was very important to us, not least because we invest in something unique, which will make Bulgarians and foreign guests feel special," said Jonathan Thurston, owner of the hotel, at the official inauguration.
The hotel include twelve boutique apartments and offers guests a wide range of options to pamper themselves - room service, underground parking lot, gourmet restaurant, spa center, ski school, satellite TV, Internet.
